T-shirt Yarn and Crochet with Natura by Fede (01/11/15)

Event Details

SOLD OUT! Send us a message on our contact page if you’d like to take the T-shirt Yarn workshop in 2016.

Learn to make t-shirt yarn and then use your own to crochet a bowl.
Fede will teach you how to create your own t-shirt yarn from a new t-shirt. This technique can then be used on your own old t-shirts to upcycle them into an interesting chunky yarn with loads of potential!
Once you’ve made your yarn you’ll then learn how to use it to crochet a bowl. Crochet experience is not necessary as you’ll be taught to crochet as you go through the steps.
In this workshop Fede will work closely with you to ensure you’re getting all of the steps right and you’ll walk away with a bowl you’ve made from the yarn.
Participants can bring their own t-shirts or use the one we provide. 1 t-shirt will be provided per participant. Bring along your good sewing/fabric scissors. Crochet hooks and all other materials are provided.
